There’s a kind of magic that’s your birthright.
Not the “manifest a yacht in 7 days” kind. 🚤😅
I mean the quiet, unstoppable, deeply alive kind.
The kind you had before you learned to:
- shrink your light 🕯️
- perform for approval 🎭
- obey invisible rules 🧾
- carry fear like it’s a personality trait 🎒
You weren’t born as a bundle of limiting beliefs.
You and I collected them.
Society… parents… friends… school… culture…
little moments that taught you: “Be careful.” “Be less.” “Don’t feel that.” “Don’t be too much.” 😬
And over time, the original you gets covered in… layers.
Like a diamond wrapped in bubble wrap, duct tape, and someone else’s expectations. 💎📦
Here’s the punchline:
You don’t need to add anything to become whole.
You don’t need another identity upgrade, another technique, another toolbox, another “fix me” project. 🧰🙃
You need subtraction.
Not self-improvement.
Self-recovery.
A remembering.
The “Diamond Underneath” 💎
When I say “the real you,” I’m not talking about the picture you painted of yourself:
- “I’m the responsible one.”
- “I’m the anxious one.”
- “I’m the high performer.”
- “I’m the one who has to hold it all together.”
That’s not you. That’s… a temporary movie playing in consciousness. 🎬🧠
Underneath the noise, the roles, the stories, the fear…
there’s something in you that was never damaged.
Never broken.
Never “not enough.”
Never in need of repair.
Just… covered.
And what’s beautiful (and honestly hilarious) is how dramatic the mind gets about this.
Your mind will whisper:
“Yeah yeah yeah… but my case is different.” 😅
Of course it will. That’s what minds do.
The Three Principles Part (but make it human) 🌀
Sydney Banks talked about a “good feeling” that’s available when we reconnect to what we truly are.
Not because life becomes perfect.
But because we realize where our experience is actually coming from.
And when you see that…
you stop fighting your own mind like it’s your enemy.
you stop negotiating with every thought like it’s a contract. 📄🤝
you stop treating moods like they’re permanent life sentences. ⛓️
You start to notice something simple:
Even when you feel low or grumpy, that doesn’t mean you’re broken.
It means you’re human. 🧍♂️🌦️
And this is huge:
Seeing a low mood as “a temporary weather system” ☁️
…is very different from believing “this is who I am.”
You don’t need to “accept” your feelings like you’re making a resignation speech. 😄
You can just live fully—high or low—without repressing half your humanity.
The Smartphone Metaphor (because it’s too perfect) 📱🌍
Imagine a smartphone… with:
- no Wi‑Fi
- no Bluetooth
- no network
- no connection at all
It’s still a device.
But the real value is in connection.
Now imagine human beings the same way:
When we identify only with our “small mind” (personal thinking, noise, fear, control)…
we walk around like a supercomputer in airplane mode. ✈️🔇
We still function.
But it feels… small. Limited. Heavy.
The deeper magic is realizing:
You are built for connection.
Connection to the intelligence of life.
To deeper wisdom.
To insight.
To the quiet clarity that shows up when you stop forcing it. 🌌
And here’s the twist:
It’s not even that you “plug in.”
You’re not separate from it.
You are that.
You’re not an isolated device trying to find signal.
You’re part of the whole network. Always. 📡✨
Sometimes you just forget…
because your thinking gets loud. 🔊🧠
So what do you do with this? 😄
Here’s the “practice” (if we even call it that):
- Notice when you’re lost in the movie. 🎬
- Remember: “This is thought + consciousness creating an experience.”
- Relax back into what’s already here. 🌿
- Let moods pass like weather. 🌦️
- Stop treating every feeling as a personal identity statement. 🙃
You don’t need to win against your mind.
You just need to stop believing it’s always telling the truth.
And then… something returns.
The glow.
The aliveness.
The “oh wow… I’m still here.” ✨
That blissful, grounded, calm power that doesn’t come from effort.
It comes from remembering.
The Real Magic ✨
Life becomes unbelievable not because nothing goes wrong…
but because you stop living as the layers.
You stop being a bundle of accumulated fear.
You stop being a prison guard for your own potential. 🗝️😅
You start living as the deeper you:
- present
- alive
- resilient
- connected
- naturally wise when you’re not overthinking everything
And yes—sometimes you’ll still be grumpy.
Sometimes you’ll still be low.
Sometimes you’ll still tell the dog “STOP” 47 times on a morning walk. 🐶😂
But it’s all included.
That’s the fullness of life.
And the freedom is this:
You can come home to yourself again and again.
No drama required.
No perfection needed.
Just a little remembering. 🌀💛
If this resonates, tell me:
What’s one “layer” you’ve noticed yourself carrying that you’re ready to drop?
